The Michigan Home Energy Rebates (MiHER) Program will fund energy efficiency and electrification upgrades for approximately 15,000 Michigander homes, helping to reduce monthly utility costs, reduce energy use, and enhance comfort and indoor air quality.
Michigan residents can follow the steps below to apply for a home energy rebate. We’re excited to be accepting applications from low-to-moderate income households across the state, and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity!
After the installation inspection are completed, the MiHER contractor submits the rebate paperwork and receives the rebate. If there is any remaining balance, it is the home owner's responsibility to pay the MiHER contractor.
